Annual meeting information (owners only)
**update your primary email contact
- We have signed an agreement for online voting so that we can schedule our annual meeting. The meeting is set for September 23, but you’ll be getting your notice and packet by mail with the official information.
- Voting for a board member will be held online. The voting invitation will be sent to your primary email contact only. No other email address can cast your vote. You’ll want to make sure your primary contact information is up to date with the management company. Please email asst@rm-property.com to update your primary email address if needed.
- Bridget Marcotte signed on to finish Bill Hart’s Board term. She will be running to fill the position for 3 years. If you’d like to put yourself on the ballot, make sure you fill out the form received with your meeting packet and return it to the management company.
Now, on to the general reminders:
- Watering yards and trees: With the Texas heat, we've noticed some yards and trees suffering. Please remember to water, while following any city guidelines, as much as you can to prevent loss of grass, plants, and trees. Street trees (between the curb and sidewalk) require replacement, so you'll want to ensure they are healthy.
- ACC requests: ACC requests must be submitted and approved for all alterations that change the look of the house or lot. This includes your rear yard, especially for yards that are visible from a public street. This includes patios and covers, and play equipment and sheds that extend taller than the fence.
- Trimming trees and bushes away from sidewalks: City code Sec. 42-355 requires 8 foot tree clearance over sidewalks and Section 42.353 requires that no object or bush may not impede sidewalk traffic. Note: According to the Service Area Agreement with the townhomes, owners are responsible for their tree maintenance.
- Alleyway parking: For safety reasons, no vehicle should be parked in an alleyway behind the garage. There is not enough room to safely park a vehicle without the danger of blocking the sidewalk or making it difficult for the opposite neighbor from exiting their garage. When reported, violations for blocking the drive will be issued.
- Pools must be inside your fence: For safety reasons, all pools must be inside your latchable fence. When reported, violations will be issued for pools outside the fence.
- Portable basketball goals: Section 4.10 of our DCCRs specifically state that portable goals must be "screened from view" when not in use. When reported, violations will be issued. Because the topic is specifically addressed in our DCCRs, ACC has little flexibility on this issue.
